Hi I'm Carolyn and I've been a health fanatic for over 30 years and now I am a personal trainer Bayside Melbourne for over 20 years!
Don't get me wrong, I love my share of bad foods, but I've trained my body over the years to burn it off. I can teach you too. I love a good 'healthy eating Shred' every now and then, but all in moderation means I don't have to 'diet'. Let's face it, no one likes that word, and we shouldn't have to use it.
I've done my fair share of fitness events over the years - fun runs, half marathons, full marathon, Oxfam, long and short trail runs, Obstacle courses such as Tough Mudder and Stampede plus others. I can help you train for those. But even more, I can train you to live life to your fullest through functional exercise.
I love trying new things and make sure I cross train each day. You can too with the group personal training schedule I created.
It's never too late to start on the health and fitness path to be leaner, stronger, fitter and healthier. My mum didn't start 'til she was 66 and is now in the best shape of her life at 72, and my dad at 79 - no meds, just exercise and good nutrition! Why do 1 on 1 Personal training?
You may feel intimidated in a group if you're just starting out. If you're new to weights it's good to get your technique perfected before joining the group. Or you may have a specific goal that you feel will be better achieved on your own. Sometimes it's good to just have all eyes on You and 100% attention to your needs. You might just want pushing to your maximum, whatever your priority is, you get.
Why do group training classes?
Working out in a group is the best. It keeps the cost of your fitness classes down, but you are still getting the individual attention you need.
Group outdoor training gets you outside in fresh air, is very social if you want to be, and still getting you a great fitness or weight loss workout.
You get to meet new people who may share the same goals, so you can train to achieve them together.
Did you know increased oxygen consumption burns more fat? A 30min high intensity bodyweight workout will get your heart pumping and your lungs working hard. If fat burning or weight loss is one of your goals – this is the class for you. If you know HiiT then this is my version.
Tight muscles can cause poor posture, neck, back, knee pain and difficulty performing daily tasks.
Yoga complements everything our other sessions offer by stretching & strengthening your muscles. Give your body a tune up so it’s more efficient and recovers better - ready to go again.
RESISTANCE TRAINING FOR ALL
Circuit training increases your metabolism while strengthening your muscles and bones. You’ll feel stronger and enhance your body’s ability to burn fat. Resistance training is form of strength training using weights or bodyweight and is recommended at least twice a week.
BAD BACK OR HIPS?
Our core consists of abdominal and back muscles. By strengthening the postural muscles, we will stand and sit more erect, appearing taller, slimmer and more confident, also reducing the risk of injury later on.
Suitable for pregnant women wanting to stay strong and recover more quickly post birth.
Can you walk up the stairs at work, run for the train, or keep up with your kids etc? If you’d like to learn how to go from a walker to a jogger, or jogger to runner I can show you how.

If you can't get to our sessions in person then join us online for all the regular variety of classes. Perfect for the mums at home, busy executives, or anyone time poor. Get real time personal training in your own home or at the park. Do recordings in your own time if you like & add to a walk/ jog/ ride.
If you're looking for Personal Training outdoors in a group, and you're in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne near Hampton, then you've come to the right place. My classes at Basterfield Park in Hampton East are suitable for both men, women and teenagers.
Don't like the gym? You're not alone. Getting more fresh air to oxygenate our brains improves performance. Maybe you go to a gym for weights and cycle but would like to do our cardio or kickboxing as casual. No problem. Are you a runner or cyclist that doesn't do any weights? You will get more of an edge if you do weights to strengthen those muscles that get neglected like upper and core.
